Robert E. Lunch II
Robert is a self-taught artist drawing and painting since the age of 3.
He was born and raised in Vallejo, California, graduating from Hogan
High School in 1983. Robert enlisted in the Navy in 1996 and later
earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Illustration from the
Academy of Arts College in San Francisco.
"I believe that all my life I have looked at things differently
than most people, as small parts like a stained glass window with vibrant
colors. I remember when I was almost 4 years old, going bowling with my
mom, sitting at the tables behind the bowling lanes. I would draw the
people in perspective, bowling in each lane all meeting at a vanishing
point. My art is a vision that transcends my life. It goes beyond reality
into the inner world of Lunch Art."
Robert has been a member of the Vallejo Artists' Guild for over three years.
He taught art therapy to homeless children for a non-profit
organization called Drawbridge in San Rafael, California.
Robert holds art shows at galleries throughout the Bay Area.
